Social Media Management
The Sow’s Ear in Verona, WI blends two of my favorite things: yarn and coffee. This combination yarn shop and cafe is well-loved by the community, and they needed help keeping up with social media.
As a part-time hybrid staff member, I enjoy stopping by The Sow to take photos and videos, connect with crafters, knitting shop samples, and get a sneak peek at new products and cafe specials. Then, I turn it into reels, carousels, and other social media content to post 5-8 times per week.
Throughout it all, I experiment with social media algorithms and track analytics to measure performance beyond vanity metrics. Follower count continues to grow, CTR is on the rise, and we’re building the digital side of our thriving crafty community.
Although this role is a step outside my usual niche, I relish the opportunity to support local small businesses that share my values, interests, and love of hands-on creativity.
